Each year the membership of AAEE, a joint Engineers Australia and Engineering New Zealand Technical Society, appoints new members to serve on the executive committee for a two-year term. The executive committee is tasked with setting and monitoring the strategic aims of the technical society, and to carry out the mission of the organisation.
This year there are four (4) vacancies to be filled. As with the last few years, voting will be done through an online system. This will enable more members to have a say in the composition of the Executive, rather than only those who are at the Annual Conference.
If you are interested in applying to be on the executive, please fill out the nomination form available here, find another AAEE member to support your nomination, and get your Dean (or equivalent) to sign their support. The nomination form should be accompanied by a statement of what you feel you can contribute to the AAEE (1 page maximum), which will be used in the voting process.
Email your nomination form and accompanying statement to Kathryn Hall, Executive Officer AAEE (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). Nominations are due by close of business on Friday, 19th October 2018.

It is with mixed feelings I am announcing that Alex Stojcevski is stepping down as Conference Chair for AAEE2015, as he is leaving Deakin University to move on to a new position at RMIT, Vietnam. Whilst we are sorry that Alex is leaving us, the progress he has already made in setting up the AAEE 2015 Conference leaves me in no doubt we are all set for a fantastic event this year. I will be assuming the position of Conference Chair from this point forwards and I look forward to welcoming you all to Geelong later this year.
